Terms and Conditions

Annual Membership Subscriptions — Pharma3DPI

1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions govern all annual membership subscriptions offered by the International Pharmaceutical 3D Printing Initiative (Pharma3DPI). By purchasing a membership, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Pharma3DPI reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to active members by email and will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

2. Membership Tiers

Pharma3DPI offers four membership tiers:

  • Student & Postdoc — for undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students, and postdoctoral researchers.
  • Academic & Healthcare Professional — for academics, senior researchers, clinicians, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals.
  • Corporate Silver — entry-level corporate membership for companies and organisations.
  • Corporate Gold — premium corporate membership with maximum benefits and leadership involvement.

Each tier includes a specific set of benefits as described on the Membership page. Pharma3DPI reserves the right to modify tier benefits with reasonable notice.

3. Subscription and Payment

All memberships are billed as an annual subscription. Payment is due in full at the time of enrolment or renewal. Prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Pharma3DPI accepts payment via the methods indicated at checkout. Corporate invoices can be arranged by contacting contact@pharma3dpi.org.

4. Renewal

Memberships do not renew automatically. Members will be contacted by email before their subscription expires with instructions on how to renew. It is the member’s responsibility to ensure their contact details are up to date.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Members may cancel their subscription at any time by contacting contact@pharma3dpi.org.

  • Refund requests made within 14 days of purchase will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • After 14 days, no refunds will be issued for the remaining period of the subscription.
  • Access to member benefits will continue until the end of the current billing period.

6. Membership Benefits

The specific benefits associated with each membership tier are detailed on the Membership page. Pharma3DPI reserves the right to modify, add, or discontinue benefits with reasonable notice.

Some benefits may be subject to additional terms, availability, or capacity limits. Where this applies, details will be communicated in advance.

7. Member Conduct

All members are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully within the Pharma3DPI community. Pharma3DPI reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership without refund in cases of:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour towards other members, speakers, or staff.
  • Misuse of Pharma3DPI resources, platforms, or communications.
  • Actions that bring Pharma3DPI into disrepute.

8. Use of Resources

Access to research papers, masterclass recordings, webinars, and other resources is provided for personal or organisational use only. Members must not redistribute, resell, or publicly share member-only content without prior written consent from Pharma3DPI.

9. Corporate Memberships

Corporate memberships (Silver and Gold) are held by the subscribing organisation rather than any individual. The organisation may nominate designated representatives to access member benefits. Changes to representatives must be communicated to Pharma3DPI by an authorised contact.

Corporate members are responsible for ensuring their representatives comply with these Terms and Conditions.

10. Data Protection and Privacy

Pharma3DPI processes personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

By purchasing a membership, you consent to Pharma3DPI storing and processing your data for the purposes of membership administration, communication, and event management.

11. Limitation of Liability

Pharma3DPI provides its services and resources on a best-effort basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pharma3DPI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from membership or use of its resources.

Pharma3DPI’s total liability shall not exceed the annual membership fee paid by the member in the year the claim arises.

12. Force Majeure

Pharma3DPI shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or technical failures.

13. Intellectual Property

All Pharma3DPI branding, content, and materials are the intellectual property of Pharma3DPI unless otherwise stated. Members may not use Pharma3DPI’s name, logo, or materials for commercial purposes without prior written approval.

Corporate Gold members with co-branding agreements are subject to the terms specified in their individual membership agreements.

14. Events and Conferences

Conference discounts and sponsorship opportunities are subject to availability and may be subject to additional terms specific to each event. Pharma3DPI reserves the right to modify event schedules, speakers, and formats.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
